Join our knitting book club as we dive into the big world of shawls through 52 Week of Shawls. Over the course of five biweekly sessions, we'll knit our way through your choice of shawl designs, sharing tips, techniques, and plenty of inspiration along the way.
52 Weeks of Shawls is a unique look into contemporary shawl knitting. The designers behind the 52 patterns come from all around the world. This collection showcases an exceptionally wide range of yarns, techniques and levels of difficulty and also includes two crochet designs. It is a true encyclopedia of shawls, a future classic for decades to come.
This class is self paced; choose whatever you wish to knit from the book (heck, pick a few things if you have time) and we'll walk through all the foundations together. This class will tackle gauge, chart and pattern reading, problem solving, and optionally complex techniques like lace, cables, and colowork. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow knitters, explore new patterns, and create something special together.
