Classes

I taught my first class when I was 9, and have been passionate about teaching knitting for over 20 years.

I have led hundreds of students through their first stitches to their final cast offs, and absolutely love seeing the joy people feel when they hold their handknit projects or have that “aha!” moment in class. My philosophy is that even more critical than the actual skills of learning to knit and purl are the confidence, patience and self-care that come from learning a challenging new skill!

My private classes are $30 an hour, an available over Zoom, locally in our community, or privately at Beehive Wool Shop. Beginner knits, hats, cables, lace, socks, shawls, and sweaters are my jam. I would love to hear what you’re looking for and build a class to suit your needs. Ages 8+. Please reach out to learn more. 

I also teach regular classesat the Beehive Wool Shop in historic downtown Victoria, BC currently, and am looking to get classes started out in the West Shore...so stay tuned.
