Class Policies

At our knitting class, we believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel valued, respected, and welcomed. We celebrate the diversity of our community and are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the support, tools, and encouragement they need to thrive. Together, let's create a warm and welcoming space where creativity flourishes, friendships grow, and every stitch tells a story.

Classes are limited to 6 people and take place in our shop at The Spinnacle Yarns @ The Langford Station.

Please arrive only 5-10 minutes before class, as there are often classes before yours and I don't want you waiting in the cold!

CANCELLATIONS & MISSED CLASSES

Class Cancellations: Participants may cancel their registration up to 7 days before the start of the class to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this period will not be eligible for a refund; however, the full amount paid for the class can be applied toward a future class or as store credit. Please reach out as soon as possible if you are unwell and unable to attend.

Instructor Availability: I am committed to being healthy and fully present for each class. In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend, I will make every effort to provide at least 24 hours' notice. In such cases, I will offer multiple options for rescheduling the class to ensure minimal disruption to your learning experience.

HEALTH & SAFTEY

Masks will be worn duing classes to protect the health and safey of all, and we'll happily be provided free of charge if you forget one!

Please do not come to class ill. I am more than happy to send you notes to make sure you don't miss things, or depending on the learning missed make time for a makeup class, evaluated on a case by case basis.

SIZE INCLUSION

We are working to make our shop as size inclusive as the knits we wear, and to that end, our chairs are armless, and have a stated weight limit of 350 llbs. We are more than happy to figure out alternatives if that will not accomodate your body. In addition to chairs, we also have a large cedar chest with a comfy pillow top, which can also be used as seating!

We are committed to only offering patterns and classes with Size Inclusion at the forefront. You can read our full Size Inclusion policy here.

BURSURIES

Each class has an available bursury spot, which I encourage you to use if attending poses a financial hardship. We believe this knowledge should be freely passed on and flourish in your hands, so please contact us if you'd like to inquire about a burusry spot in one of our classes, no questions asked.
