Over the course of six biweekly sessions, we'll knit our way through your choice of Sari's beautiful designs, sharing tips, techniques, and plenty of inspiration along the way. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow knitters, explore new patterns, and create something special together. Whether you're a fan of Sari Norland or new to her work, this bookclub is the perfect way to enjoy the art of knitting in a supportive and creative group setting. Classes are Wednesdays Oct 9, 23, Nov 6, 20, Dec 4 & 18 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm.
This class is self paced; choose whatever you wish to knit from the book (heck, pick a few things if you have time) and we'll walk through all the foundations together. This class will tackle gauge, chart and pattern reading, problem solving, and optionally complex techniques like lace, cables, ad colowork.
The Book, Softly – Timeless Knits is bursting with delightful knitwear projects, ranging from gloves and scarves to knitted sweaters and cardigans. All 22 knitwear designs are by Sari Nordlund, one of the best-known Finnish knitwear designers.
