Design your Own Colourwork Sweater | Strange Brews X Knitovation | 4 Weeks | Advanced

Design your own Fair Isle Sweater in our 4-week workshop.We'll work to craft your colorful yoke, learn to mix and match charts, and play with colours, and in 4 weeks have be well on our way to creating our first yoked sweater. Perfect for knitters looking to advance their skills, this class teaches yarn handling, 2-handed colorwork method, chart reading, and more. Materials are 15% off with this class.

This 4 class course is taught by Nicole, the owner of The Spinnacle Yarns, with 25 years of knitting experience. 

🧶 Students are expected to be comfortable knitting, purling, casting on, pattern reading, and working in the round.
🧶 The pattern, Strange Brew, by Tin Can Knits is included in this class.

🧶 We'll draw from Strange Brews motifs, as well as stitches from local author Andrea Rangel's Knitovation.

This class is appropriate for folks comfortable in tackling simple sweaters and colorwork, but to get the most out of the class, ideally one of the two ideas is familiar to you ;). 

Alternatively, you can choose to knit from beloved colourwork book, Strands of Joy!

Class is Wed Oct 1-22 from 5-6:30.

Classes are limited to 6 people and take place in The Spinnacle Yarns @ The Langford Station. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class. For the health and safety of all, masks are mandatory & will happily be provided free of charge if you forget one!
