The Next Chapter -- The Spinnacle Yarn Cafe
The bad news is: we'll be closing The Spinnacle Yarns at the Langford Station.
The GOOD news is we will be opening The Spinnacle Yarn Cafe a few blocks away at 153-2754 Veterans Memorial in the Winter of 2025/2026.
This new venture is a joint partnership between 3 friends -- Nicole, founder of The Spinnacle Yarns, Hayley Reid, and Dr Nicole Wilde of The Dandy Doe. The idea for the Yarn Cafe blossomed as our friendship grew over endless lattes, stitches and adventure. We want to create a space where you are welcome to stitch, sip, shop and socialize, with community, accessibility and kindness at the forefront. And so we decided to build it. On long road trips together, we joked it would be perfect to have a little cafe you can knit in and find all the local yarns you need...and the joke has become very, very real. If you've stopped by the shop in the last year, chances are you've met Hayley or Dr Nicole, knitting in the corner or suggesting yarns and patterns.
At our core, we have always been a gathering space (with too little space to gather) so as The Spinnacle Yarns at the Langford Station grew, it became so clear we needed more room. Space for you to stop by for a chat, to get help with your project, or just craft in the sunshine with friends over a good latte. But we've outgrown this packed 120 square feet!
So we're asking you to take another leap with us, and come along on our latest fibre-y adventure. We're actively working on bringing the space to life, so keep up with the adventures at @yarncafeyyj on Instagram, and our email list!
